Comrade Tayo Onimisi Omodaiye Sworn in as NYCN Coordinator for Ogori/Magongo, Dedicates Victory to God and Kogi State Accountant General

In a landmark ceremony held at the Youth House in Lokoja, Comrade Tayo Onimisi Omodaiye has officially taken the oath of office as the Coordinator of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) for Ogori/Magongo Local Government Area.

The swearing-in ceremony was graced by the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development in Kogi State, alongside other state executives of the council, youth leaders, and distinguished personalities from across the state.

In his post-inauguration remarks, Comrade Omodaiye expressed profound gratitude to the youths of Ogori/Magongo for the trust and mandate bestowed upon him. He described his emergence as the dawn of a new era marked by purposeful leadership, youth empowerment, and grassroots development.

“I am deeply humbled by the confidence reposed in me,” he said. “This is not just a personal victory, but a collective milestone for the youths of Ogori/Magongo. I pledge to run an inclusive administration that promotes innovation, leadership development, and social impact.”

While appreciating all the leaders in Ogori/Magongo LGA, particularly acknowledging their roles that have brought peace and development, Comrade Omodaiye dedicated the achievement to the Almighty God and to the Kogi State Accountant General, Hajia Habibat Onumoko, whom he described as a “mother, distinguished leader, and mentor.” He acknowledged her invaluable support, guidance, and unwavering belief in youth-driven governance.

He offered heartfelt prayers for her continued strength and divine protection as she supports the administration of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, in delivering the dividends of democracy to the good people of Kogi State.
