Gov. Ododo’s Administration Reaffirms Commitment to Affordable Housing as Kogi Participates in Renewed Hope Housing PPP Summit
The Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, on Tuesday 12 May, 2026 reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to sustainable housing development and urban renewal as the state participated in the Renewed Hope Housing Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Summit held at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja. Governor Ododo was represented at the summit by the Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Abanika Taiye, who attended the high-level programme organised by Shelter Advisory Services Limited in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development. The summit brought together key stakeholders in the housing sector, policymakers, investors, development experts and government officials to deliberate on strategies for addressing Nigeria’s housing deficit through effective public-private partnerships.
