Workers’ Day: Pharm. Salamat Onize Applauds Kogi Workers, Commends Gov. Ododo’s Welfare Policies
The Executive Secretary of the Kogi State Drugs and Medical Supply Management Agency, Pharmacist Salamat Onize Ibrahim, has congratulated workers across Kogi State, particularly staff of the Agency, on the occasion of the 2026 International Workers’ Day. Pharm. Salamat described workers as the backbone of governance and development, noting that their dedication and professionalism remain critical to the success of government policies and programmes, especially in the health sector. She commended the Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his unwavering commitment to workers’ welfare through consistent, timely salary payment, cash-backing of staff promotions, pension harmonization and health insurance for retirees, as well as the implementation of other worker-friendly policies.
