Ajaokuta Feels the Love: Hon. Abanika Hails Gov. Ododo’s Visit, Pledges Unshakable Support

The Honourable Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Abanika Taiye, has expressed deep appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his recent visit to Adogo in Ajaokuta Local Government Area.

In a statement, Hon. Abanika commended the Governor for personally commiserating with Hon. Abdulraheem Sanni Egidi, Member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, over the passing of his beloved mother.

Hon. Abanika noted that the Governor’s visit was a clear demonstration of his affection and commitment to the people of Ajaokuta Federal Constituency. He emphasized that Governor Ododo’s reassuring promise of more development projects for the area has further cemented the people’s trust and loyalty to his leadership.

"The love His Excellency has shown to our people will not go unrewarded. Ajaokuta remains solidly behind the progressive agenda of Governor Ododo,” Hon. Abanika stated.

He further assured the Governor of continued support from the people of Ajaokuta, especially in promoting and sustaining the impactful policies and programs of the present administration.

Highlighting the achievements recorded so far under Governor Ododo’s leadership, Hon. Abanika confidently declared that "there is no vacancy in the Lugard House" until the completion of the Governor’s second term in office.

He concluded with prayers for divine strength, wisdom, and grace for Governor Ododo as he continues to steer the affairs of the state and deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.
