Bishop Emmanuel Onsachi Pays Courtesy Call on CUSTECH VC

The Anglican Bishop of Okene Diocese, Rt. Rev’d Dr. Emmanuel Isezuo Onsachi, on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, paid a courtesy call on the Vice Chancellor of Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, Prof. Abdulrahman Asipita Salawu.

During the visit, Bishop Onsachi lauded the remarkable progress recorded by the institution under the leadership of Prof. Salawu, noting that CUSTECH has continued to witness rapid growth within a short period. His visit attracted some other principal staff and officers of the University with whom he shared pleasantries. 

The cleric further offered prayers for the continued development of the institution, the welfare of its management, staff, and students, as well as for the peace and prosperity of the land as a whole.

Responding, Prof. Salawu expressed appreciation to the Bishop for the visit, stressing the age long presence and impact of the Anglican Communion in Ebiraland, his words of encouragement, and the prayers rendered. The Vice Chancellor assured him of the university’s commitment to academic excellence and the pursuit of sustainable growth, while pledging to give due consideration to the issues he raised.
