We Are Grateful: Hon. Abanika Applauds Gov. Ododo for Flag-Off of Unosi–Eganyi–Ebiya Road in Ajaokuta

The Honourable Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Abanika Taiye, has expressed profound appreciation to the Chief Servant of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for the love and commitment he has shown to the good people of Ajaokuta Local Government Area through the flag-off of the all-important Unosi–Eganyi–Ebiya Road on Tuesday, 12th August 2025.

Speaking with journalists shortly after the event, Hon. Abanika described the road project as a major catalyst for economic growth and social development in the area, noting that it will open up communities, boost commerce, and improve connectivity.

“With this flag-off, the people of Ajaokuta can truly feel the impact of the APC-led government under His Excellency. Without a doubt, they will vote massively to return him for a second term in office,” he affirmed.

The Commissioner also commended the sterling leadership of the Federal Constituency’s representative, Hon. Abdulraheem Sanni Egidi, for fostering a strong synergy with Governor Ododo; a relationship that has attracted several dividends of democracy to the area. He stressed that this is what effective legislation is all about: “The ability to lobby and bring impactful projects to your constituency.”

Hon. Abanika further appreciated all government functionaries, political leaders, and community stalwarts for the massive turnout to welcome the Governor. He assured the people that under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s leadership, more developmental projects will be delivered to Ajaokuta and Kogi State at large.
