2027: Hon. Abanika Rallies Massive Support for President Tinubu in Ajaokuta APC Presidential Primary

The Kogi State Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Abanika Taiye, on Saturday, May 23, 2026, led members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ajaokuta Local Government Area to participate in the party’s presidential primary election, where he canvassed massive support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election.

Hon. Abanika, who monitored the exercise from his Ebiya country home, described President Tinubu as a leader whose love and commitment to Kogi State remain unmatched, stressing that the state has practically become the President’s second home owing to his continuous support and developmental strides.

According to the Commissioner, President Tinubu has demonstrated uncommon dedication to the progress of Kogi State through policies and interventions that have continued to impact positively on the lives of the people, noting that such commitment deserves overwhelming support and reelection in 2027.

He further disclosed that he has voluntarily taken up the responsibility of coordinating Ajaokuta Local Government for the victory of all APC candidates in the forthcoming general election, expressing confidence that the party would record a landslide victory across the state.

Hon. Abanika also commended the leadership style of the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, and the Supreme Leader of the APC in Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello, saying their impact and achievements have continued to strengthen the party’s popularity and acceptance among the people.

He noted that the developmental foundation already laid by the APC leadership in the state has made the task of mobilization easier for party faithful, adding that the people of Ajaokuta remain committed to sustaining the party’s dominance through massive grassroots support.

The Commissioner urged APC members to remain united, focused, and committed to the ideals of the party, emphasizing that unity and collective effort would guarantee victory for President Tinubu and all APC candidates in 2027.
