Hon. Abanika Congratulates Egidi, Ahovi, Ogembe, Others on APC Primary Victories, Says General Election Will Be a Walkover

The Honourable Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development in Kogi State, Hon. Abanika Taiye, has congratulated the political leader of Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Hon. Abdulraheem Sanni Egidi, on securing the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket to once again represent the good people of Ajaokuta Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

Hon. Abanika also congratulated Hon. Engr. Muhammad Ahovi Yusuf on his emergence as the APC candidate for Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency, as well as Hon. Sanni Salawu Ogembe for emerging victorious as the APC candidate for Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency.

He described their victories as well-deserved and a clear reflection of the confidence reposed in them by party members and constituents.

In a congratulatory message, the Commissioner noted that the victories of the candidates did not come as a surprise considering their immense contributions to the growth of the APC and their commitment to quality representation, grassroots development, and party loyalty over the years.

According to him, the emergence of credible, experienced, and people-oriented candidates across the constituencies has further strengthened the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections, expressing confidence that the party would record overwhelming victories at the polls.

“With candidates like Hon. Abdulraheem Sanni Egidi, Hon. Engr. Muhammad Ahovi Yusuf, and Hon. Sanni Salawu Ogembe, the APC remains firmly positioned for victory. The general election will be an easy walkover for our great party because the people have continued to identify with our achievements and people-oriented leadership,” he stated.

Hon. Abanika further stressed that Kogi State is already working towards a united political front aimed at delivering massive votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections under the leadership of the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo.

He commended Governor Ododo, the APC State Executives, and critical stakeholders for ensuring a peaceful, transparent, and credible primary election process across the state.

He stressed that the peaceful conduct of the primaries once again demonstrates that the APC remains a strong and united political party that continues to set the pace in democratic leadership, internal cohesion, and progressive governance.

The Commissioner equally congratulated other victorious aspirants across the state and urged them to remain magnanimous in victory by carrying everyone along in the spirit of unity, inclusiveness, and collective progress.

He also appealed to aspirants who may not have emerged victorious to accept the outcome of the primaries in good faith and join hands with the party leadership to work towards the collective success of the APC in the forthcoming general elections.

Hon. Abanika maintained that under the APC-led administration, every party member remains important and relevant, assuring that no one would be left behind as the party continues to consolidate on its achievements and developmental strides across Kogi State.
