Hon. Abanika Taiye Felicitates with Muslims on Eid El-Adha, Calls for Support and Prayers for Gov. Ododo
The Kogi State Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Abanika Taiye, has extended warm felicitations to Muslims across Kogi State and Nigeria at large on the occasion of the Eid El-Adha celebration.
In his Eid message, the Commissioner urged the Muslim faithful to reflect on the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, love, and devotion to God as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.
Hon. Abanika prayed that the blessings of the sacred celebration would usher in peace, happiness, divine favour, and prosperity to every home, while calling on the people to continue to live in unity and harmony for the progress of the state and the nation.
The Commissioner also called on citizens to continue to offer prayers for the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, for wisdom, strength, and divine guidance in steering the affairs of the state toward greater development and prosperity.
He commended Governor Ododo for his commitment to infrastructural growth, good governance, and people-oriented leadership, noting that the administration remains focused on delivering the dividends of democracy to all Kogites.
Hon. Abanika further appealed to the people of the state to continue supporting the present administration in its efforts to build a more united, peaceful, and greater Kogi State.
He wished all Muslims a peaceful and joyous Eid El-Adha celebration filled with abundant blessings and renewed hope for a better future.
