Kogi Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Abanika Taiye, Hosts Ajaokuta Constituents to Ramadan Iftar in Lokoja
The event provided an opportunity for the attendees to come together in prayer for His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, as well as for the peace, progress, and prosperity of the state.
The constituents praised Hon. Abanika Taiye for being a worthy ambassador of Ajaokuta Local Government, lauding his dedication to the service of both his people and the state. They also offered heartfelt prayers for the member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Hon. Barr. Abdulraheem Sanni Egidi, wishing him wisdom and strength in his leadership.
In his remarks, Hon. Abanika Taiye emphasized the importance of continuous prayers for Governor Ododo and called for unwavering support and cooperation with the current administration. He urged Muslims to use the period of Ramadan to give generously in charity, deepen their reflections on the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), and strengthen bonds of brotherhood and peace.
The Iftar gathering concluded with a renewed sense of purpose and a collective commitment to fostering unity and progress in Ajaokuta and across Kogi State.
