I, Hon. Abanika Taiye, Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, with great joy and gratitude to God, celebrate our highly respected Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Pastor (Mrs) Folashade Arike Ayoade, PhD,

 fondly called “Mama Cabinet”, on the occasion of her 60th birthday anniversary.

Mama Cabinet, you are more than a leader; you are a mother, a mentor, and a source of wisdom to many of us. Your humility, strength, and tireless service to our dear State inspire me personally and countless others.


On this special milestone, I join your family, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers in thanking God for your life of impact. May the Almighty grant you many more fruitful years in sound health, peace, and divine fulfillment.

The Management of Kogi State Specialist Hospital (KSSH), Lokoja, wishes to inform the general public and all members of staff of the introduction of an afternoon shift at the General Out-Patient Department (GOPD), effective from April 1, 2026. This development is part of the hospital’s ongoing commitment to improving healthcare service delivery and ensuring increased access to quality medical care for patients across the state and beyond.
