Kogi Housing Commissioner Felicitates with Muslim Ummah on Moulud, Urges Voter Registration
The Kogi State Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Abanika Abanika Taiye , has felicitated with the Muslim Ummah in Kogi State and beyond on the blessed occasion of Moulud.
In his goodwill message, the Commissioner extended warm congratulations to the Chief Servant of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, praying for Allah’s continued blessings, guidance, and prosperity upon the Governor, the State, and the entire Muslim community.
He described the commemoration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) as a moment of reflection on the Prophet’s exemplary life of peace, humility, and devotion to Allah, which remains a beacon of guidance for humanity.
Hon. Abanika also used the opportunity to remind the people of Kogi State of the importance of obtaining their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC). He emphasized that the PVC is not only a tool for exercising one’s civic rights but also a vital instrument for strengthening democracy and promoting sustainable development in the State.
He urged those who are yet to register to take advantage of the ongoing voter registration exercise, stressing that active participation in the electoral process is key to consolidating the progress already being recorded under the present administration.
