Hon. Abanika Taiye Rallies Support for Tinubu, Ododo, Bello, Egidi at G32 APC Endorsement Rally in Ajaokuta

The Honourable Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Abanika Taiye, on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, joined party leaders and supporters at the G32 Ajaokuta APC Endorsement Rally held in Adogo, Ajaokuta Local Government Area of Kogi State.

The rally was convened to mobilize grassroots support for His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, and the immediate past Governor, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello, for the Senate representing Kogi Central Senatorial District. It also reaffirmed support for the continuity of Hon. Barr. Sanni Abdulraheem Egidi as the Member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency.

Addressing party faithful, Hon. Abanika Taiye emphasized that the endorsed leaders have demonstrated proven track records of leadership, performance, and commitment to development, which make them well qualified for re-election and higher responsibilities.

Speaking personally on the former Governor, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Commissioner described him as a bold and visionary leader whose tenure laid a solid foundation for the growth and stability currently being enjoyed in Kogi State. He noted that Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello’s courage in decision-making, youth inclusion drive, and commitment to security and infrastructure remain enduring legacies that justify his endorsement for the Senate.

On Hon. Barr. Sanni Abdulraheem Egidi, Hon. Abanika Taiye described him as a grassroots politician with a deep understanding of the needs of his constituents. He commended Hon. Barr. Sanni Abdulraheem Egidi’s accessibility, responsiveness, and consistent representation, stating that his connection with the people of Ajaokuta Federal Constituency has translated into meaningful legislative and developmental impact.

The Commissioner further noted that the achievements recorded under the leadership of His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and His Excellency Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo have laid a solid foundation for sustained growth, infrastructural development, and improved governance in both Kogi State and Nigeria at large.

He therefore called on the people of Ajaokuta Federal Constituency to give their total and unwavering support to all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC), stressing that such support is critical for the consolidation of ongoing development efforts and the sustenance of democratic gains.

He assured that continuity in leadership under the APC will guarantee stability, accelerated development, and the delivery of more people-oriented projects across the state.

The rally witnessed a massive turnout of party supporters, stakeholders, and community leaders, reflecting strong grassroots mobilization and widespread endorsement of the APC leadership at both state and national levels.
