The Ebira Youth Congress, Lokoja Chapter, has praised the significant achievements of Prof. Isah Adagiri Yahaya, the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Kogi State Specialist Hospital, Lokoja.
The association made this declaration during a courtesy visit to Prof. Isah Adagiri Yahaya in his office, where they commended his substantial accomplishments since assuming office as the CMD. Speaking through the association's vice president, Comrade Abdulahi Bello, and other members, they highlighted his infrastructural reforms, employment initiatives, and efforts in sourcing professionals despite the shortage of medical personnel in Nigeria. They also commended his role in fostering unity among diverse tribes within the hospital despite being the first Ebira man to occupy the exalted office in the history of the hospital and his support for the current government led by His Excellency Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo.
The association appealed to the hospital management to prioritize job opportunities for their members when available, expressing confidence in Prof. Yahaya's fatherly approach towards their concerns. They concluded with special prayers for Prof. Isah Adagiri Yahaya, the hospital's management, and staff.
In response, Prof. Isah Adagiri Yahaya expressed gratitude for the association's recognition and credited his achievements to divine providence and the support of the immediate past Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello. He expressed optimism in the new government under the able leadership of Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo, assuring continuity of previous successes.
Prof. Yahaya restated his commitment to transparency, accountability, and improving the hospital's standards, noting his successful management of previous financial challenges upon assuming office.
