Pharm Salamat Welcomes Governor Ahmed Ododo to Kogi State Drugs and Medical Supply Management Agency, Describes the Governor as Mr. Project

The Executive Secretary of the Kogi State Drugs and Medical Supply Management Agency, Pharmacist Salamat Ize, has described His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, as "Mr. Project," who has achieved a great deal in just his first 100 days in office.

The Executive Secretary gave this commendation while delivering a welcome address during the flagging off of medical equipment and consumables, including antimalarial doses for preventive chemotherapy for children, by the Governor at the premises of the Kogi State Drugs and Medical Supply Management Agency in Lokoja.

Pharmacist Salamat recounted how the Governor built a world-class hospital in Upogoro, Okene Local Government Area, while he was the Auditor General for Local Government. She further highlighted the Governor's achievements within his first 100 days in office, which include the approval for the renovation of 63 primary healthcare facilities across the state, the implementation of hazard allowances for medical and health workers in Kogi State, the launching of the Kogi State Health Insurance Scheme, and the recent approval for the upgrading of the Kogi State Drugs and Medical Supply Management Agency to an e-Pharma-grade level.

The Executive Secretary added that Kogi residents are now very proud of their decision to vote him into power and describe him as "Mr. Project."

Pharmacist Salamat also took the opportunity to commend the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Abdulazeez Adams, whom she described as a morale booster, always available and willing to listen and offer guidance.

She concluded by expressing her gratitude to the Governor for the opportunity to serve as the Executive Secretary of the agency, promising to remain committed to upholding the goals of the Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo administration and striving to exceed expectations.
