Kogi State Drugs and Medical Supply Management Agency Executive Secretary Praises Gov. Ododo's Strong Commitment to Health Sector


The Executive Secretary of the Kogi State Drugs and Medical Supply Management Agency (KSDMSMA), has commended the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his consistent efforts and dedication to delivering quality healthcare to the people of Kogi State.

The Executive Secretary expressed her appreciation in Lokoja while responding to the recent announcement by Governor Ododo to launch a flagship health intervention program that will complement secondary and tertiary healthcare services and also expand access to free healthcare in the State.

"Your Excellency, I am thrilled to hear you express your unwavering commitment to initiating a flagship health intervention program while addressing the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) in Kogi State. I am immensely proud of your recognition that 'health is wealth,' as you work to improve the well-being of your people," she said.

The KSDMSMA leader also recalled how Governor Ododo, even before his election, had supported various free medical health outreaches such as Progressive Health Care Professionals and Associates (PHCPA), among others. She emphasized that the Governor has remained a favorite among the people of Kogi State.

Additionally, she highlighted the government's initiation of a health insurance program aimed at providing accessible and affordable healthcare for the people of Kogi State, further underscoring the Governor's comprehensive approach to health sector reform.

The Executive Secretary described Governor Ododo as a leader who backs his words with action. She concluded by praying for continued divine wisdom and protection for the Governor and his cabinet.
