Testimony of a smiling but crying nation

My dear friends and family, I come before you today with a heart full of reflection. In a country where fuel prices, food costs, and house rents are all climbing like athletes in a high jump competition, our beloved Baba T has pulled off the ultimate magic trick.

He has successfully increased our tax—without a single person blinking an eye or asking, "Why?"! Yes, my people, we shall now joyfully contribute ₦50 for every ₦10,000 that graces our humble accounts.

We may not be able to stand on this mandate, but rest assured, we’ll sit tight and ride it out.

Ah, Nigeria… 😥
