OFFICIAL STATEMENT

RE: FALSE REPORT OF CRISIS AT KOGI STATE UNIVERSITY, KABBA

The Progressive front liners of Kogi State University Kabba, wishes to categorically debunk the malicious and sensationalized report circulating in the media, alleging a crisis at our esteemed institution.

We are dismayed by the unprofessional and unethical conduct of a certain journalist, who has resorted to spreading falsehoods and misinformation about our university. This individual's actions are clearly motivated by a desire for cheap attention and a vendetta against the university, stemming from his inability to gain unauthorized access to our conference hall.

We wish to assure the general public that Kogi State University, Kabba, remains a beacon of peace, harmony, and academic excellence. The relationship among staff members and the university community is built on mutual respect, trust, and a shared commitment to the institution's progress.

As we prepare for the second matriculation ceremony of our university, scheduled for tomorrow, 25th February 2025, we are focused on celebrating this milestone and welcoming new students to our community.

We urge the public to disregard the false report and to be wary of sensationalized and unverified information. We appreciate the support and confidence of our stakeholders and assure them that we will continue to uphold the highest standards of academic excellence and institutional integrity.

Signed:

BIGSAM OF AFRICA

Kogi State University, Kabba, Momentum.
