The Executive Secretary of the Kogi State Drugs and Medical Supplies Management Agency, Pharm. Salamat Onize, has felicitated with the Honourable Commissioner for Health, Dr. Abdulazeez Adams Adeiza, on the occasion of his birthday.

In a heartfelt message, Pharm. Salamat described Dr. Adeiza as a leader with an unwavering passion for teamwork and a deep commitment to the health sector. She acknowledged his dedication to improving healthcare services in Kogi State, particularly his relentless efforts in ensuring that the agency ranks among the best in the country.

She expressed profound gratitude for his pivotal role in securing the approval for the renovation of the agency’s warehouse to a pharma-grade standard, a significant milestone that will enhance drug storage and distribution in the state.

  The Kogi State Government has issued a firm directive to individuals unlawfully occupying properties within the National Housing Estate at Crusher, Lokoja. This call, issued by the Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Taiye Abanika, on January 3, 2025, mandates immediate evacuation from Phases I, II, and III of the estate. Hon. Abanika decried the illegal occupation, stating it undermines the objectives of the National Housing Programme (NHP), which aims to provide affordable housing to Nigerians.
