Pharm. Salamat Onize Celebrates Kogi State Head of Service, Pastor Elijah Evenemi, on His Birthday

The Executive Secretary of the Kogi State Drugs and Medical Supply Management Agency, Pharm. Salamat Onize, has extended warm felicitations to the Kogi State Head of Service, Pastor Elijah Evenemi, on the occasion of his birthday.

In a statement issued on behalf of the agency, Pharm. Salamat described Pastor Evenemi as a true servant leader, known for his humane nature and unwavering readiness to support and assist whenever called upon. She expressed deep appreciation for his immense contributions to the agency, particularly his steadfast support in enhancing the staff welfare.

Pharm. Salamat also commended the Head of Service for his visionary leadership and the numerous innovations he has introduced, which have significantly reformed the Kogi State civil service. She acknowledged his efforts in fostering efficiency and growth within the system, making a lasting impact on governance and public service.

She further prayed for divine blessings upon Pastor Evenemi, asking God to grant him sound health, increased wisdom, and continued strength to lead effectively.

  The Kogi State Government has issued a firm directive to individuals unlawfully occupying properties within the National Housing Estate at Crusher, Lokoja. This call, issued by the Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Taiye Abanika, on January 3, 2025, mandates immediate evacuation from Phases I, II, and III of the estate. Hon. Abanika decried the illegal occupation, stating it undermines the objectives of the National Housing Programme (NHP), which aims to provide affordable housing to Nigerians.
