Kogi Housing Commissioner, Hon. Abanika Taiye , Attends Third-Day Fidau Prayer for Late Mama Arametu, Mother of Hon. Abdulraheem Sanni Egidi

 

The Kogi State Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Abanika Taiye, on Thursday, joined other sympathizers at the third-day Fidau prayer held in honour of the late Mama Arametu Sani Egidi Abdulraheem, the mother of Hon. Abdulraheem Sanni Egidi, Member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency.


The prayer session, which took place in Ajaokuta, attracted a host of dignitaries from across the country, including political leaders, traditional rulers, and Islamic clerics, who came to offer prayers and show solidarity with the bereaved family.

In his remarks, Hon. Abanika Taiye described the late Mama Arametu as a devout and compassionate matriarch whose life of humility and service positively impacted all around her. He prayed for Allah’s forgiveness and eternal rest for her soul and divine protection for the children and family she left behind.

“Mama Arametu was not only a pillar to her family but also a mother figure to many in the community. Her passing is a great loss, but we take solace in the exemplary life she lived,” he said.

Mama Arametu passed away on the 14th of April, 2025, after a brief illness. She was laid to rest according to Islamic rites.
