Kogi State Specialist Hospital Lokoja Commiserates with Governor Ododo over Father’s Demise

The Management and Staff of the Kogi State Specialist Hospital, Lokoja, have expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Late Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo, father of the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.

In a condolence message personally signed by the Acting Chief Medical Director, Dr. Oluseyi Bamidele Folagbade, the hospital described the death as a painful loss not only to the Governor and his family but also to the entire state.

Dr. Folagbade noted that the late patriarch lived a fulfilled life, having raised a worthy son who today occupies the exalted office of Governor of Kogi State. He added that the deceased would be remembered for his exemplary life of discipline, dedication, and family values.

The Acting CMD prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the late Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo and grant him eternal rest in Aljanatul Firdausi.

  The Kogi State Government has issued a firm directive to individuals unlawfully occupying properties within the National Housing Estate at Crusher, Lokoja. This call, issued by the Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Taiye Abanika, on January 3, 2025, mandates immediate evacuation from Phases I, II, and III of the estate. Hon. Abanika decried the illegal occupation, stating it undermines the objectives of the National Housing Programme (NHP), which aims to provide affordable housing to Nigerians.
