Kogi Bridge Builder Progressive Vanguard Storms Kogi Central as ADC Unveils, Vows to Rescue Power from APC and PDP

The Kogi Bridge Builder Progressive Vanguard Supporters, under the leadership of Hon. Abdulazeez Suberu Onogu, on Sunday turned out in their numbers as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) was officially unveiled in the Kogi Central Senatorial District of Kogi State.

The colorful ceremony, which drew massive crowds from across the five local government areas of Kogi Central, signaled a bold political statement and a new dawn for a people yearning for credible leadership and genuine governance.

Speaking during the event, the ADC Kogi Central Leader, Engr. Sam Uhuotu, declared that the unveiling of the party in the zone marked the beginning of a political revolution that would return power to the people. He stressed that the ADC represents a movement of conscience—built on integrity, accountability, and people-oriented governance.

In his keynote address, Senator (Dr.) Chief Tunde Ogbeha, Deputy National Chairman of the party, who chaired the occasion on behalf of the National Chairman, Senator David Mark, reaffirmed the ADC’s resolve to rescue power from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which he said have both outlived their usefulness to the plight of Nigerians.

According to him, “For over two decades, Nigerians have endured the same cycle of hardship, failed promises, and misgovernance under the APC and PDP. The ADC stands today as the new hope for a nation in search of truth, justice, and progress.”

David Itopa (History), Deputy National Welfare Secretary, emphasized the equal treatment of all ADC members, stating that it is a coalition that brought about the new ADC—one that welcomes women and youths to align with its vision.

Other notable attendees included Senator Ahmed Ogembe, Hajiya Mariam Adoke Ibrahim, Hajiya Bilikisu Onusaba, the Kogi State ADC Chairman, as well as state and local government executives who reaffirmed their total loyalty and readiness to deliver victory for the party in the upcoming elections.


The atmosphere was electric as the Kogi Bridge Builder Progressive Vanguard and thousands of enthusiastic supporters pledged their commitment to work tirelessly for the growth of the ADC, vowing that the time for real change in Kogi State and Nigeria has come.

Woman Slumps, Dies While Sharing Testimony In Lagos Church

  A 55-year-old woman, identified as Ifeoma, reportedly died shortly after collapsing while sharing a testimony at the Ministry Church in the Ejigbo area of Lagos State. The incident occurred around 8:48 am during Sunday service on 8 September 2024, ultimately led to her death a few minutes later. The spokesperson for the state police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed this on Wednesday.
