Kogi Housing Commissioner Engages Minister Dangiwa, FHA Boss on Renewed Hope Housing Execution
The Kogi State Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Abanika Taiye, on Thursday, October 16, 2025, paid a working visit to the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, and the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Hon. Oyetunde Oladimeji Ojo, in Abuja.
The visit, according to the Commissioner, was aimed at strengthening collaboration and ensuring the effective implementation of the Renewed Hope Housing Programme in Kogi State.
Hon. Abanika described Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo as a leader deeply committed to the welfare of his people, noting that the governor has fully aligned with the vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to provide affordable housing for Nigerians under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
He emphasized that the state government is ready to provide the necessary support, including land and enabling infrastructure, to ensure the smooth takeoff of the project across Kogi State.
In his response, the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, commended the commitment of the Kogi State Government and pledged the Federal Government’s readiness to work with the state to ensure that the housing project is successfully implemented.
The Minister assured that his ministry would put all necessary machinery in motion to ensure that Kogites benefit fully from the Renewed Hope Housing Programme.
Similarly, during a separate meeting with the Managing Director of the Federal Housing Authority, Hon. Oyetunde Oladimeji Ojo, the Commissioner had a fruitful discussion on implementation strategies. Both parties resolved to work closely to bring affordable and quality housing to Kogi citizens under the Renewed Hope initiative.
