Hon. Abanika Taiye Celebrates Kogi Chief of Staff, Alh. Ali Bello, on His Birthday

The Honourable Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Abanika Taiye, has extended warm birthday felicitations to the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ali Bello, describing him as a cornerstone of effective governance and a major driver of success within the Ododo-led administration.

In a congratulatory message marking the birthday of the Chief of Staff, Hon. Abanika lauded Alhaji Ali Bello for his immense impact and steadfast support toward the successful implementation of projects under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development.

According to the Commissioner, the Ministry has continued to record notable progress due to the Chief of Staff’s strategic guidance and timely interventions, which have helped to remove administrative bottlenecks and ensure alignment with the development vision of His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

“On this special day, I celebrate a man of humility, wisdom, and uncommon dedication to service. Alhaji Ali Bello’s counsel, accessibility, and firm belief in teamwork have greatly strengthened our capacity to deliver on our mandate,”Hon. Abanika stated.

He further described the Chief of Staff as a silent achiever whose calm disposition and people-oriented leadership style have earned him respect across the length and breadth of the state, adding that his guidance has been invaluable to commissioners and heads of agencies.

Hon. Abanika concluded by wishing Alhaji Ali Bello many more years of impactful service, noting that his contributions will remain a lasting legacy in the growth and development of Kogi State.

  The Kogi State Government has issued a firm directive to individuals unlawfully occupying properties within the National Housing Estate at Crusher, Lokoja. This call, issued by the Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Taiye Abanika, on January 3, 2025, mandates immediate evacuation from Phases I, II, and III of the estate. Hon. Abanika decried the illegal occupation, stating it undermines the objectives of the National Housing Programme (NHP), which aims to provide affordable housing to Nigerians.
