Two Years of Purposeful Leadership: Kogi Specialist Hospital CMD Hails Governor Ododo, Deputy on Anniversary
The Acting Chief Medical Director of Kogi State Specialist Hospital, Lokoja, Dr. Oluseyi Bamidele Folagbade, has congratulated His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, and his Deputy, Elder Joel Salifu, on their second anniversary in office, describing their administration as people-oriented and impactful.
Dr. Folagbade noted that the last two years of Governor Ododo’s leadership have been marked by purposeful governance, infrastructural development and renewed commitment to human capital growth across critical sectors of the state.
According to him, the Governor has demonstrated uncommon humility, accessibility and dedication to public service, earning him admiration from citizens and stakeholders alike.
“Your Excellency, your two years in office have been historic and memorable, defined by visible achievements and responsive leadership. You have continued to consolidate on the solid foundation laid by your predecessor while injecting fresh energy into governance,” the CMD stated.
He particularly commended the Ododo-led administration for prioritising the health sector through improved funding, infrastructural upgrades, staff welfare and strategic interventions aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery in Kogi State.
Dr. Folagbade also praised the Deputy Governor, Elder Joel Salifu, for his calm, disciplined and stabilising role in the administration, describing him as a dependable partner in governance and a pillar of support to the Governor.
The Acting CMD further reaffirmed the commitment of Kogi State Specialist Hospital, Lokoja, to align with the vision of the present administration in delivering quality, affordable and accessible healthcare services to the people of the state.
He prayed for divine wisdom, strength and protection for the Governor and his Deputy as they continue to steer the affairs of Kogi State towards greater development and prosperity.
