Kogi State Drugs and Medical Supply Management Boss Felicitates Former Governor Bello on Birthday, Describes Him as Visionary Leader

The Executive Secretary of the Kogi State Drugs and Medical Supply Management Agency, Pharm. Salamat Onize Ibrahim, has felicitated with the immediate past Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a visionary leader whose reforms in the health sector laid the foundation for sustainable drug supply management in the state.

In a goodwill message made available to newsmen, Pharm. Salamat Onize Ibrahim said Alhaji Yahaya Bello, during his tenure, demonstrated a strong commitment to improving healthcare delivery through the availability of quality, safe, affordable, and accessible medicines for the people of Kogi State. This, she noted, led to the establishment of the Kogi State Drugs and Medical Supply Management Agency with a strong legal backing to ensure efficiency, accountability, and sustainability in drug procurement and distribution.

She explained that the creation of the agency remains one of the most significant achievements of the former Governor in the health sector, as it has continued to strengthen the state’s healthcare system by ensuring effective management of essential medicines and medical supplies across health facilities.

Pharm. Salamat Onize Ibrahim further commended the former Governor for his foresight in building institutions that continue to serve the people long after his administration, noting that his legacy in the health sector remains impactful and visible.

While celebrating his birthday, she prayed Almighty Allah to grant Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello good health, long life, wisdom, and many more years of service to humanity and the development of Kogi State.
